The backend is part of the stable distribution since version 0.6.6.1

YAMJ MediaServer

This backend exposes video files, indexed through the YAMJ video jukebox software.

The YAMJ librarie should be set up and accessible (thourgh an HTTP:// of FILE:// URL) from the machine hosting the backend.

Additional dependencies

No additionnal dependency is needed.

UPnP ContentDirectory structure

The contentDirectory structure mimicks the one from YAMJ.

Configuration

The backend accepts these options:

name:
name of the device, as exposed to the UPnp universe
yamj_url
URL to the YAMJ librairies main directory (the one hosting the index.htm file and Jukebox directory)
